Administration

Executive Director

Position Summary

The Executive Director (ED) is the chief executive officer of the Oregon Mozart Players (OMP) and is responsible for leading the organization’s overall strategy, fundraising, and public presence.

This is a development-centered position focused on donor relations, sponsorship, and strategic leadership, while day-to-day operations are overseen by the Director of Operations and Administration (DOA). The ED partners closely with the Artistic Director (AD) and Board of Directors to ensure OMP’s artistic and financial vitality.

OMP is a lean and collegial organization with a flattened structure designed for collaboration rather than hierarchy. The Executive Director works in close partnership with the Artistic Director, Director of Operations and Administration, and Board of Directors to guide strategy, fundraising, and community impact. This structure offers high autonomy and meaningful input in all areas of the organization’s growth.

This is an exciting executive leadership opportunity at a moment of transition and momentum. With the recent appointment of Music Director David Amado, a growing and engaged Board, and a small, highly skilled staff, OMP is well positioned for its next phase of development. Based in Eugene, a city with a deep appreciation for the arts and a strong culture of community support, this role offers the chance to help shape the future of a respected organization with renewed energy and clarity of purpose.

OMP is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants needing accommodations during the hiring process may contact Sean Vierra, President of the Board: president@oregonmozartplayers.org.
