This December offering glows with warmth and joy. Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances evokes 16 century grace through a Romantic lens, while Corelli’s beloved Christmas Concerto offers a timeless expression of the season’s spirit. Scarlatti’s luminous Christmas Cantata and Rowley’s charming Christmas Suite round out a program that invites reflection, serenity, and a sense of wonder.

Naomi Castro

Originally from the island of Oahu, Naomi taught K-12 choir for nearly ten years and was very active in Hawai'i's choral scene. She moved to Eugene in 2018 to pursue dual master's degrees in Choral Conducting and Voice Performance at the University of Oregon, where she was a graduate employee for the Music Education and Voice departments. Naomi has been the chorusmaster for Eugene Opera since 2019 and became a music/vocal director at Cottage Theatre in 2023. She leads an active performing life, singing with Central Lutheran Church Chorale, UO Musicking Ensemble, Oregon Bach Collegium, Eugene Vocal Arts, and Eugene Symphony Chorus.
