Jessika Kaiser, OMP Executive Director
Jessika Kaiser has been OMP’s Executive Director since early 2015. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a double bachelor of Arts with high honors, and took a year off before moving to Oregon to attend the University of Oregon School of Law. A practicing attorney for several years, Jessika decided her skills were better utilized in the non-profit sector, and she worked for several non-profits before heading to OMP, including Oregon Community Programs and the Eugene Symphony. In her tenure so far at OMP, she has been instrumental in moving the administration forward in planning for the future, expanding educational programs, and streamlining administrative tasks. A music lover since a young age, Jessika plays the piano, though as she says “definitely not at a level you’d want to pay money to hear.” That’s made her respect what OMP’s musicians do much more, and she works diligently in supporting them as much as possible.
When not working on OMP matters, Jessika is most always with her family: her husband, Bob, her 4-year-old, James, her 2-year-old, Charlotte, and (soon) her newborn son. The family (and their three dogs) love being outside. They have an extensive urban jungle/farm/garden, and Jessika is the craftsperson behind the structures and garden beds.
Fun fact: When Jessika was a child, she had a cockatoo named Mozart. Was this a unique insight into her future? Maybe!
